The show will delve deep into the politics of the King’s Court in the 18th century, exploring the relationship between King George II, his wife Queen Caroline and his mistress Henrietta Howard.
Members of the audience will be allowed to walk through the King’s State Apartments, which were opened to the public by Queen Victoria in 1898.
At first, Henrietta was made a Woman of the Bedchamber to Caroline, then Princess of Wales.
She later became a mistress to the future King George II, becoming fully integrated into the royal court.
