Jenelle Evans and David Eason have had a genuinely messy relationship. The pair have seemingly been on the outs off and on since they met. That didn’t stop them from getting married, though. Two years after the wedding bells rang out, they are headed to divorce court. Evans announced the separation on Oct. 31, 2019, and the pair recently faced off in court. While their divorce is nowhere near complete, it doesn’t look like either is having a difficult time finding new love interests. Fans have theorized that both Evans and Easons have already partnered up with other people. Are the rumors true, though?
David Eason was spotted with another lady
The ink is barely dry on the restraining order against David Eason, but it looks like he may not have any shortage of potential leading ladies. The father of three was spotted with a young woman while he was out and about in Nashville. Eason was in town to deal with legal proceedings, now that Evans is living in the state.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, a photo of Eason with a woman named Brittney Walker surfaced on social media recently. A fan asked Eason outright if he was dating the woman in the post, but he laughed the whole thing off. Eason insists that he simply posed for a picture, and while he’s friends with Walker on social media, apparently, there is nothing romantic between them. Fans aren’t exactly buying his excuse.
To hear Eason tell it, however, he’s always asked for photos and is more than happy to pose for them. Eason has been busy in the weeks following his separation trying to shore up his image. He’s long insisted that fans have the entire story wrong. Eason claims he’s been painted in a negative light by the Teen Mom 2 production team, Evans and the internet at large.
Rumors are swirling that Evans is dating already
The second Jenelle Evans laid down roots in Nashville, Tennessee, followers began speculating about her dating life. First, the mother of three was linked to her ex-boyfriend, Nathan Griffith. The rumors started swirling when Griffith was spotted in Tennessee. Griffith cleared up the talk quickly. He was in Tennessee for a standard custody exchange, and the chummy behavior between Evans and Griffith is simply co-parenting at its finest. The pair had a notoriously difficult time co-parenting while Evans was in a relationship with Eason. Griffith is still with his long-term girlfriend, Ashley Lanhardt. Evans and Griffith share a 5-year-old son.
Once Griffith was out of the running as Evans’ next conquest, all eyes turned to a local guitarist. Evans gave Travis Tidwell a shoutout on Instagram, and that’s all followers needed to see. Evans and Eason visited with Tidwell back in early October 2019. Once the recent shoutout went live, fans began speculating the friends were an item.
Eason added fuel to the fire by sharing a song called “Bro Code” on his Instagram Story on the same day Evans mentioned Tidwell on her social media. Evans cleared up the rumors, insisting she is not dating anyone while her divorce is in progress. Her choice to move to Nashville had nothing to do with Tidwell, allegedly.
When did Jenelle and David meet?
Evans and Eason’s relationship has been so rife with drama that it seems like they’ve been together forever, but believe it or not, their relationship was not all that long-lived. Evans and Eason met on Tinder in September 2015. By August 2016, the couple was expecting their first child together.
The pair welcomed their daughter, Ensley, in January 2017. They married in a ceremony in North Carolina in September 2017. It didn’t take long for the entire relationship to unravel from there. In February 2018, Eason was booted from Teen Mom 2 after making homophobic comments on social media. He quickly made it difficult for Evans to continue on the show. Their relationship looked destined for divorce court in May 2019 when Eason shot and killed the family dog. She decided to stick it out, even though all three of the children in the home were removed by Child Protective Services. While the pair were awarded custody in July 2019, Evans fled the couple’s homestead in October 2019.
