Vietnamese Street Food Restaurant Lady Ha Is Opening at the Ford Factory Lofts on Ponce De Leon Avenue, Atlan… - Eater Atlanta

A Vietnamese street food restaurant called Lady Ha opens at the Ford Factory Lofts near the new Kroger on Ponce De Leon Avenue early next summer, What Now Atlanta reports. Think banh mi, dumplings, spring and egg rolls, and noodle soups along the Beltline.

The restaurant, owned by Ha Thu Kieu, is located on the ground level of the building just off of the Eastside trail across from Ponce City Market. According to the report, Lady Ha also plans to serve boba tea and smoothies as well as beer as part of partnership with brewpub Hopstix in Chamblee.

Lady Ha joins Rina, the casual sister to Tal Baum’s “modern Israeli” restaurant Aziza at Westside Provisions District. Like Lady Ha, Rina’s menu also centers around quick bites and lighter fare, including skewers, pita sandwiches, falafel, and salads. It’s expected to open early next year.

As for the 100-year-old Ford Factory Lofts, the building is currently receiving a contentious facelift in the form of white paint, according to Curbed Atlanta. Photographers captured workers painting over the building’s century-old red brick exterior last weekend. The move has been condemned by area historic preservationists for stripping the city’s oldest buildings of character.
