Matt Smith will no longer play Prince Philip but has been replaced by older actor Tobias Menzies.
Everyone’s favourite royal rebel Princess Margaret will be played by award-winning actress Helena Bonham Carter.
Ms Bonham Carter has revealed the extensive research she conducted ahead of taking on the role.
The actress said she went to a spiritual medium to make sure she got her portrayal of Margaret just right.
Speaking to the Cheltenham Literature Festival about her encounter with Margaret through the psychic, Ms Bonham Carter said: “She said, apparently, she was glad it was me.
“My main thing when you play someone who is real, you kind of want their blessing because you have a responsibility.”
