North West might only be 6-years-old but she definitely has a knack for all things beauty and fashion.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s oldest child has always been obsessed with makeup and clothes, but has now found a new interest and you won’t believe what it is.
It turns out that North is actually really into skincare and coming from a family that’s all about maintaining healthy skin definitely works out in her favor.
Kardashian can’t keep her daughter away from skincare products
It seems as though the Kardashian-Jenner lifestyle is continuing to rub off on little Miss North West.
Aside from the six-year-old loving all things beauty and fashion, it looks like she is getting an early start at establishing a skin-care routine.
While speaking to Allure Magazine on October 30, Kardashian West opened up about her daughter’s latest obsession and shared just how much North has embraced her newfound hobby.
“She’s found it really fun to do a face mask,” the reality star said. “I’ll get her sheet masks, and if she’s having a sleepover, I’ll do a mask with the girls. They think it’s so funny for some reason. I don’t know why. They just think they’re so fascinating.”
With West having recently banned their daughter from wearing makeup, this is the perfect way for North to experiment with beauty products without going against her father’s wishes.
“I think he had it, he changed all the rules,” Kardashian-West told with E! News during her KKW x WINNIE makeup collaboration dinner last month.
“I’d let her wear — you know, she has a little red for Christmas — I’d let her wear a red lip, or I’d let her do one pop of something,” the reality star continued. “I’d let her, if she’s wearing a black dress, a black lip.”
While fans and family members could see how much North loved experimenting with makeup, Kardashian recently revealed that she and West got into a big fight over their daughter’s beauty obsession.
“So, I kind of got in trouble for that,” the mother of four said. “So, it’s now no more makeup.”
“North is trying to get in on the makeup but she’s being blocked heavily because her dad has stopped all makeup for her until she’s a teenager,” she previously told E! News. “So it’s a big discussion, a big fight in the household right now, but it’s what is best.”
Although Kardashian-West was all for her daughter wearing a little makeup every now and again, she is now standing by her husband.
“As a parent, you just learn and figure it out as you go, and we realized we didn’t really want her to wear makeup at a young age, but she sees her mom putting on lipstick and lip gloss,” she said.
North was bound to take after her famous family members
Now that North has taken a liking to skincare, we can easily guess that being around her famous aunts had something to do with her latest obsession.
With Kylie Jenner having launched her very own skincare line, Kylie Skin, and the rest of the family taking their skincare routines very seriously, it was only a matter of time before North jumped on the bandwagon.
Now that Kardashian West is thinking about launching her own skincare line, we can easily assume that North will be the first one to try out her mom’s products.
“I’d love to [launch skin care],” she recently shared with Refinery29. “I’m obsessed with skin care. I test so many products, and I love to try so many different facials.”
