The One Crucial Reason Kim Kardashian West Doesn't Deserve All the Hate She Gets - Showbiz Cheat Sheet

Kim Kardashian West is probably the most famous reality TV star and is no stranger to criticism. However, like any person, she’s also an evolving human being.

While she may have gotten her fame status through notoriety, the reality star has since built an empire with smart business decisions. Now, her most recent endeavors are solid reasons why she doesn’t deserve all the hate she gets.

Kardashian West has been outspoken about her interest in becoming a lawyer. Though many people were shocked by her interest in law and criticized her for it, she is genuinely passionate about becoming a lawyer.

Kardashian West comes from a family with an interest in law. Her father, Robert Kardashian, was a part of O.J. Simpson’s legal defense team. The Kardashian family is no longer in contact with Simpson.

Although her father practiced law, her interest in law stems from her desire to improve the lives of non-violent criminals through prison reform.

In 2017, Kardashian West was scrolling through twitter when a post grabbed her attention. The story of Alice Marie Johnson profoundly moved Kardashian West and prompted her to take action. Johnson is a woman who was convicted of a non-violent drug-related crime and sentenced to life in prison.

Kardashian West met with President Trump about prison reform, specifically regarding the case of Johnson. She used her star status and platform as a way to draw attention to the need for prison reform. President Trump granted clemency to Johnson, and Johnson has regained her freedom woman after serving 22 years behind bars.

Kardashian West immersed herself in prison reform advocacy. Kardashian West has already helped free 17 people through her advocacy and financial support. She feels strongly about helping inmates who have prison sentences that significantly outweigh the crime. She is studying law so that she will be able to help even more people regain freedom.

Can Kim Kardashian West become a lawyer without a college degree?

Some people have criticized Kardashian West for not possessing a college degree and question the likelihood of her becoming a lawyer. Kardashian West has been honest about not having a college degree. However, she has earned over 75 college credits. Under California law, a person without a college degree can become a lawyer by completing a four-year apprenticeship program under the mentorship of a licensed lawyer.

Kim Kardashian West is working hard to pursue law

Last year I registered with the California State Bar to study law. For the next 4 years, a minimum of 18 hours a week is required, I will take written and multiple choice tests monthly. As my first year is almost coming to an end I am preparing for the baby bar, a mini version of the bar, which is required when studying law this way. I’ve seen some comments from people who are saying it’s my privilege or my money that got me here, but that’s not the case. One person actually said I should “stay in my lane.” I want people to understand that there is nothing that should limit your pursuit of your dreams, and the accomplishment of new goals. You can create your own lanes, just as I am. The state bar doesn’t care who you are. This option is available to anyone who’s state allows it. It’s true I did not finish college. You need 60 college credits (I had 75) to take part in “reading the law”, which is an in office law school being apprenticed by lawyers. For anyone assuming this is the easy way out, it’s not. My weekends are spent away from my kids while I read and study. I work all day, put my kids to bed and spend my nights studying. There are times I feel overwhelmed and when I feel like I can’t do it but I get the pep talks I need from the people around me supporting me. I changed my number last year and disconnected from everyone because I have made this strict commitment to follow a dream of mine – It’s never too late to follow your dreams. I want to thank Van Jones for believing in me and introducing me to Jessica Jackson. Jessica along with Erin Haney have taken on the role of my mentors and I am forever grateful to them both putting in so much time with me, believing in me and supporting me through this journey. This week I have a big torts essay due on negligence. Wish me luck ✨⚖️

Throughout the apprenticeship, the law requires the apprentice to successfully pass numerous written and multiple-choice tests, including the mini-bar exam and, ultimately, the bar exam. Though money can pay for a lot of things, it can’t buy determination.

Kardashian West recently told The New York Times that she is sacrificing time with her family to pursue her dreams of becoming a lawyer. She said: ” I’m definitely working really hard and it’s a commitment that I’ve chosen to take this time away from my family to study and to not go out with my friends and live a different life. And I’m so OK with that.”

Kardashian West has completed her first year of apprenticeship. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship and after passing the bar exam, Kardashian West will be a lawyer.

Kardashian West lives a life of luxury, but that doesn’t mean that her achievements come easily. Becoming a lawyer is hard work. There are state-mandated requirements that involve a lot of time, studying, and effort for her to achieve her goal of becoming a lawyer.

She receives a lot of hate, but she doesn’t deserve it. Kardashian West isn’t merely seeking attention by pursuing a career in law: This is something that she is genuinely passionate about.

Despite much criticism, she is working hard to achieve her dream of helping others. She wants to bring attention to the need for prison reform and significantly improve the lives of thousands of people. And it’s the time people stopped hating on her for wanting to make a tangible impact on lives.
